PS188 is a highly integrated USB Type-C®solution,combining a DisplayPort™1.4a to HDMI™2.0 converter,a USB 3.2 hub,and dual USB Power Delivery 3.0 controllers in a single component.PS188 supports a DisplayPort Alternate Mode(DP Alt Mode)capable USB-C upstream port.Downstream support includes one HDMI 2.0 transmitter,two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports,and one dedicated USB 2.0(only)port.Two full-featured PD 3.0 controllers and an integrated MCU provide all needed customization and in-field maintenance via secure firmware updates.PS188 provides a single-chip solution suitable for multiple market segments and USB Type-C applications including dongles,docking stations,and other innovative products.Implementation examples:
